Delegation n°8: Finland

Lempäälä Senior Secondary School (Lempäälän lukio aka LeLu) is a high school of about 350 students aged 16-19. It strives to give its students a comprehensive, general education with emphasis on technology as well as international education. Lempäälä Senior Secondary School has ongoing international projects with schools for example in Germany, Russia and Sweden. The school prepares its students for the national matriculation examination which gives the students university entry qualifications. The beautiful town of Lempäälä (approximately 19 000 inhabitants) is situated 20 kilometres south of Tampere, the third largest city in Finland.
